Standard Camp Registration:  $160

Early Registration:  $150, before May 4th

Meals:  $6 or $8 each

Camp Sessions

Elementary Music

  • Designed for students finishing grades K – 4
  • Provides an in-depth interaction with basic instruments, rhythms, dynamics, and notes
  • Students finishing 5th grade should attend the Band session, where they will be placed in a Beginning Band.

Color Guard

  • Focused on high school students
  • Build advanced guard techniques with flag, rifle, and dance
  • Student leaders will gain experience in teaching techniques and peer instruction
  • Collaborate to create and perform a group routine

Guitar

  • Created for students that have completed 8th grade and have played for more than one year
  • Centered on classical guitar technique and performance
  • Students will concentrate on Florida All-State guitar audition material

Beginning Band

  • Focused on students who completed 5th or 6th grades
  • Allow them to try instruments, learn music basics, and get a head start on learning an instrument for the next school year.
  • Morning group:  Beginning Band
  • Afternoon group:  Electives Blocks A & B
  • Audition:  No
  • New Instrument Orientation:  Sunday, June 7th at Trinity Catholic for all new players - this session before camp is designed to help you select your new instrument.  One of our sponsors, Music in Arts, will also be present to offer instrument rentals for the camp week.  More information about this instrument orientation will be emailed out before camp starts.

Advanced Band & Wind Ensemble

  • Intended for band students with at least one year of band class or private instruction
  • Students have the opportunity to be in one of two bands
  • Morning group:  Advanced Band or Wind Ensemble
  • Afternoon group:  Elective Blocks A & B
  • Audition:  Yes 

Auditions for Bands

  • Students have the opportunity to be in one of two bands (advanced or wind ensemble).  Selection will be based upon placement auditions.
  • Audition material and instructions for students will be released at a future date.

Special Groups

  • Percussion Morning Pullout
    • Intended for percussionists with at least one year of band class or private instruction.
    • Students have the opportunity to be in one of three bands AND work separately with our percussion instructors
    • Morning group:  Percussion pullout from Advanced Band or Wind Ensemble
    • Afternoon group:  Elective Blocks A & B
  • Marching Band Leadership - Special Elective
    • Intended for director-recommended high school student leaders, moving into their Junior or Senior years
    • Focus on teaching rehearsal techniques, team building, and conducting
    • Morning group:   Advanced Band or Wind Ensemble
    • Afternoon group:  Marching Band Leadership (select elective during registration)

Electives

  • Electives are divided into two afternoon blocks, Block A and Block B
  • Allows students to experience different activities and meet additional campers

  • The Marching Band Leadership group meets during both Blocks A & B.
